1. Teeth can become stained and discoloured as a result of:

      3. The ageing process

   Teeth whitening is a great way for brightening your natural teeth if they are discoloured, yellow or dark. Fillings, crowns, veneers and other tooth coloured restorations will not whiten with teeth whitening procedures and may need replacing following a teeth whitening procedure in order to maintain a uniform colour of all of your teeth.

2. Being clear and transparent, these aligners are very discreet and therefore are ideal for adults who want to maintain a professional image as well as adolescents and teenagers who do not want to wear traditional braces.
3. It is much easier to maintain a high level of oral hygiene as once removed, you will be dealing only with your own teeth and no metal brackets or wires will be in the way, making it much easier for you to clean your teeth.

1. Teeth whitening is a very safe and effective treatment.

   1. 1. We start by taking impressions or moulds of your teeth in order to make your customised teeth whitening trays.
      2. At the second visit, which is usually 2 weeks after the first appointment, we check to make sure your bespoke trays fit correctly to ensure best possible results can be achieved
      3. We provide you with a full package of Whitening Gels which you place inside the trays and normally leave overnight for a period of 10-14 days

How long you keep the new colour of your teeth varies from person to person, but it is not considered a permanent treatment. 

Most people keep their new colour from several months up to a few years. Smoking and drinking pigmented beverages like red wine, tea, or coffee, can reduce the whitening effects faster. 

This can always be topped up with additional bleaching agents available.
